Geoffrey Edelsten’s former Palazzo Versace love nest relisted

2014 was an annus horribilis for Geoffrey Edelsten for a number of reasons, including the withdrawal of his Palazzo Versace condo from auction – but perhaps at least he’ll be able to shift it this year, as it’s been relisted. Having declared himself bankrupt in an Ohio court – in the same week that his marriage to 30-year-old American socialite Brynne Gordon was announced as over – the Allied Medical Group founder listed the extravagant Main Beach apartment early last year. The property was described as “surplus to needs” by a representative of Dr Edelsten, so with his debts mounting up and a high-profile divorce on the way, it was put on the market. However a bankruptcy lawyer in the USA dealing with the legal proceedings between Edelsten and his former … Continue reading

It was bought by the Sweetwater Wines company in 1997, and developed into Sweetwater Ridge, an estate of twelve vineyard acreage lots. The country residence – which comes with private guest wings, four Juliet balconies, loggia, plunge pool, day spa and formal entry courtyard - also overlooks the Sweetwater Valley. … Continue reading
