Location: 80 kms west of St George, 90 kms north Dirranbandi, 23 kms to Boolba Community centre, off the Balonne Highway. 280 kms to Roma or 380 kms to Dalby.

Country: Although mostly a cattle operation in the present ownership, Wongalee has been a traditional cattle and sheep grazing property. The country is generally flat, predominately red loam soils (Box, Wilga, Sandlewood, etc.) with areas grey, some with melon holes (Brigalow, Belah).

Cultivation. No current cultivation although some neighbouring properties have substantial farming areas.

Goat Paddock: 1600 acre securely fenced goat paddock with yards. Substantial feral goat income.

Water Supply: Stock water comes under pressure (no pumping) from three separate capped artesian bores. The original Wongalee bore (32 lb pressure) located on property was drilled in 1985. This system feeds 44 tanks and troughs. The south Tippendale trust bore feeds a system of cream tanks and troughs at the front of Wongalee. The new Chippeway Trust bore feeds a system of tanks and troughs on the original Wirrininna section. (Observant water meter in place on system). Again mostly 63 to 45 mm poly pipe lines, Bore water and rainwater connected to house. No yearly water fees.

Fencing & Subdivision: The property is well fenced into 16 paddock plus 6 holding paddocks. All grazing paddocks connect to two separate sets cattle yards via a lane way system. Fencing is all steel suspension fencing of 6 wires including two barbs or 4 barbs. Steel end assemblies etc.

Structural Improvements: Large comfortable Timber/hardiplank homestead of 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, two separate screened verandas, air con, heating etc. Established lawns and garden in fenced yard with separate 8 x 18m workshop/garage. Livestock: A backgrounding steer to 250 - 300 kg to 10 acres or a breeding cow to 20 to 25 acres in normal seasons, could dramatically increase numbers with fodder cropping.

Comments: The property is well developed with a good cover of Buffel and native pasture - again mustering is a breeze with easy access to yards via laneway system. The property has a good balance of red and grey soils and is well suited to grazing cattle or sheep.
